Our organisation is committed to fostering a fair, safe, and ethical work environment. To ensure this commitment, we provide both internal and external parties with secure and confidential channels to report misconduct or file formal complaints.

To ensure your complaint is handled appropriately, we encourage you to carefully read the details about the procedures below and if needed, you can download the relevant form, and submit the details via email to HR@midocean.com.

Whistleblower procedure- for serious misconduct

The whistleblower procedure is designed for reporting serious misconduct that could significantly harm the organization, its employees, or society at large.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fraud, corruption, or embezzlement
  • Violations of laws and regulations
  • Risks to public health, safety, or the environment
  • Abuse of power or conflicts of interest
Confidential Whistleblower reporting
Reports submitted through this procedure will be carefully reviewed and treated confidentially. Whistleblowers are protected against retaliation or disadvantage, in accordance with the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive (EU Directive 2019/1937).
<em>Grievance mechanism-</em> for business or operational complaints
Have you experienced something concerning?

Grievance mechanism- for business or operational complaints

Complaints that fall outside the scope of the Whistleblower procedure should be submitted through the grievance mechanism.

These may include:

  • Unequal treatment in business agreements or contracts
  • Issues in collaborations or employment conditions
  • Unclear or disputed internal processes

Reports submitted through this procedure are reviewed by the responsible department and, if necessary, escalated to an independent committee.

Confidentiality and identity

We will handle your report confidentially, and individuals who submit a complaint in good faith are protected against retaliation or disadvantage.

Internal and external parties also have the option to report anonymously by printing the Whistleblower or Grievance mechanism form, and sending it by mail to:
